High Gear's anti-gay oddball award this month goes to hairdresser Kenny Filly who said in Cleveland Magazine: "male hairdressers are a tempermental lot what creative types aren't? but that doesn't mean we're a bunch of fags. If anybody is likely to be queer, it would be a barber he hangs around with men all day..........
The Outpost in Warren certainly keeps on top of the disco scene. They had the new album by the Andrea True Connection ("More, More, More") the same day it was released in Northern Ohio......

Another new twist by the West Ninth Street Baths is a video cassette tape recorder. They have already christened the tape deck with a showing of Deep Throat for Memorial Day holiday....
Gypsy's in Cleveland is now open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m......
The talent show scheduled for the Vaults has been postponed for awhile. A date will be set in the

The Summit Lodge's High Gear classified has resulted in a number of people volunteering. for the world's largest gay resort. Get away to nature this. summer and check it out in Rockbridge, Ohio....
The dance floor at Akron's American Hotel and Restaurant has "grown" into the Eagle's Nest. It is now about three times as large as it used to be. Also at the American every night Monday through Thursday the TV switches on as the American crowd enjoys Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, while they sip on the new Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Special, Special......
While we're on the subject of the American, this observer is convinced that Steve Skrobot, the bar's owner has the highest gay political consciousness of any bar owner in the state and he ought to be commended for it......

BOWLING GREEN The Bowling Gay Union recently announced that it will remain active during Summer 1976. The Union is soliciting contributions of money and materials, so that it might continue and expand its mailing list.
BGGU hopes to be able to purchase a bulk mailing permit and to obtain the supplies necessary to produce mailings of interest to gays in Ohio and surrounding states.
